The law of Karma, simply stated, is a person will receive back the actions put forth from them. If a person does good, good will be paid back to them. If this is true, then why isn’t everyone good. There is a part to this law that no one speaks about. If we do a good deed with the expectation of being paid, we will not receive the good back to us. Something as simple as our mindset can end up short changing us. This was put in place to prevent us from doing good for payment.  That’s not honorable. Rather, it forces us to be good because it’s the right thing to do.

Bad things happen to us all of the time. It’s how we deal with it that makes the difference. Contrary to what Hollywood believes, we should never seek revenge. If we are seeking revenge then our hearts are not in the right place. Revenge never brings peace. It only brings tension.

We live stressful lives. Reducing that stress should be our priority. By keeping our hearts in the right place we can eliminate a lot of that stress. We see more opportunities when we are not distracted by stressors. More doors appear to be cracked open rather than closed.

We all could use less stress. We owe it to ourselves to provide that. We should never be our own stumbling block. Life can be easy if we keep our hearts in the right place.

Oh, my! I wish everyone would print this out as a gentle reminder that bad things happen but our reaction is key.
