Fear is the monster that lurks in the closet. It is the embodiment of things not known. It grips us and causes us to freeze. Like poison from a snake, worry sets in and we begin to lose hope.
If we are worrying then we are not thinking. If we are not thinking then we are not planning. Without a plan there is no solution. Hope is built on the foundation of solutions. That light at the end of the tunnel is hope. There is a way out.
To rid ourselves from the grips of fear we need to stop. Just stop and breathe. Look at where we are. Where do we need to be? How do we get there? Do we need help? Plot a course. Stay on track and set up barriers and safeguards that will prevent us repeating our error. It is that simple. Although one may know that executing these tasks may test our courage, but they are necessary in order to defeat the problems that plague us.
Fear only has the power over us that we give it.
