The glass is full.

The glass is full

Take a moment to picture that glass. The first layer is air. Air takes priority over water when it comes to our consumption. We can go an hour without water. Try that with air. The more water we have in the glass, the less breathing room we will have. On the other hand, remove all of the water and we will become thirsty. There has to be a balance between the two.

Our income is like air. Without an income we will financially suffocate. The more income the more breathing room, right? Sure, until we hyperventilate and pass out. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Water represents playing. It rehydrates our soul. It provides an opportunity for us to run wild and stretch our imagination. So yes the glass is half full of water, and yes the glass is half empty to allow air in. It’s balanced. It’s the way it should be.

Always keep a good balance between your career and your relaxation. Maintain your career over your relaxation. But remember, too much work and you will get burnt out. Too much relaxation and you’ll get raisin fingers… just saying.

Thank you for taking the time to read, and may we always find the balance between work and play.
